EUARTHURS: European Arthurs, Medieval to Modern

I am delighted to share some excellent news for the society, that ‘EUARTHURS: European Arthurs, Medieval to Modern’, a consortium project involving key society members from France, Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Iceland, led by Bangor University in Wales, has been awarded 2880000 euros in the competitive funding scheme Marie Sklodowska Curie Doctoral Training Network.

Starting in 2026 this network will provide funding for 11 doctoral fellows and numerous relevant training opportunities and events to which many of you will have access. In these hard times for Arts and Humanities globally, and for any kind of research funding for Arthurian Studies, it is good to see our work being valued and rewarded.
